Dr. Girnita holds a PhD in immunology and has completed fellowships at Harvard University, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Cincinnati. She has also completed a Nutrition Science course from Stanford University and a Mindfulness course from the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Girnita is a board-certified rheumatologist and licensed to practice in 10 US states.
Recognized with the “Top Doctor” award (2017-2020), she is a sought-after speaker at national events, including the US National Arthritis Foundation. Dr. Girnita also serves as an assistant professor at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she continues to be involved in research and teaching services.
As a strong advocate for digital health and telemedicine, Dr. Girnita is committed to empowering both physicians and patients to take control of their medical health. She is also a promoter of reducing healthcare costs and increasing transparency in pricing. In addition to her work with Rheumatologist OnCall, Dr. Girnita is the Co-Founder of Direct Specialty Care Alliance and co-leader of the Free Market Medical Association California Chapter.
